Merchandising basalt powder products for construction and foreign trade, NVMC’s products are fire resistant and the rocks can withstand an unconfined compression test result of 80,000 psi. BR-15 is basalt – a dark, fine-grained inert ingenious rock. NVMC mines this material from “Trap Rock” and “Dresser Trap,” two locations with more than 450 years of resources. NVMC’s proprietary technology takes the mineral and conforms it to state, national and international levels, making it the perfect source for aerospace technology among various other applications.

With an M.O.U. agreement with A.C. Composite Resin Co., NVMC owns and does business with the BR-15 and EcoPolyHybrid products. While other companies also offer fire-resistant capabilities, no other supplier is a green company, and their products are harmful to the environment and humans. BR-15 is a top of the line equivalent to carbon fiber, lead and also rebar. This material can be used to make automobiles, aircraft bodies, fire-resistant homes, floors, toys, light military vehicles and bulletproof armor among many other uses.
